Introduction

Below are some rules to follow to prevent your documents from being properly recognised by our services.

Accepted formats

Accepted file formats are:

images (png / jpg / webp etc)

Number of files per submission

The product only accepts one file as an attachment (only the first file will be processed): it is therefore not possible to add the front on one page and the back on a second page.

Background of photos and scans

One of the most important points is to pay attention to the background of the document, especially in the case of photos: you should favor uniform and light backgrounds, and avoid dark and non-uniform backgrounds.

Cropping

It is not necessary to crop the documents before submitting them, but if the latter is not detected it may be necessary to crop/rotate it before submission:



Front / back

The order is not important in the case of a front and back on the same page:

Contrast

The documents can very well be scans or photos, so placed in an A4 page or a background: this is not a problem.

However, you must make sure that the contrast is sufficient for the edges of the map or document to be visible.



Rotation

Documents can be tilted without any problems.

On the other hand, a 90° orientation should be avoided, which will block detection:
